Mama Bear and Cub- A Contemplative Moment

36" x 36" x1.5" mixed media on a gallery wrapped canvas.  The painting is multi-layered with charcoal, acrylic paints, modeling paste and collage.  Oil paints, pastels and pencil used in the final layer. 

Mama bear and her cub represent a time of deep contemplation in the woods for all life has to offer at this present moment.  Gratefulness is at the heart of this moment for the safety and abundance that surrounds her.
